With his insightful style of photography that brings about his subject's spirit, his works have appeared in the world's most prominent publications like Time, Newsweek, Asiaweek, New York Times, San Francisco Chronicle and Canada's Sposa wedding magazine.
Mr. Vecina has 30 years of experience as photojournalist. A journalism graduate, he started out in sports and news phtography. He worked at international news agencies such as Reuters and Agence France Presse. He also worked for Hong Kong Standard in Hong Kong and major local dialies such as the Philippine Daily Express, Evening Post, Bulletin Today and Philippine Star. He was a pioneer staff at the Philippine Daily Inquirer.
Mr. Vecina has photogrphed the past five Philippine Presidents and other well known personalities. He goes beyond merely recording a subject his photographers speak directly to the viewer.
